Wendy for CRPD

Who is Wendy Macleod?
Wendy Macleod (along with a team of committed TO residents) brought back the Conejo Valley Parade to try and resurrect the spirit of Thousand Oaks. She wants to take advantage of that success and bring back the luster TO seems to have lost with its expansive growth. As a member of the Conejo Recreation and Parks Board, she hopes to recapture the magic Thousand Oaks once had and share it with the next generation of TO citizens.

Conejo Valley Parade Reboot
Perfect Execution
Wendy had a passion to see the beloved Conejo Valley Parade come back. She started with nothing, assembled a team of Thousand Oaks residents and started about resurrecting the beloved annual event. After several months of talking to businesses and the Sunrise Rotary, the parade once again made its way down TO Boulevard in 2024.
Passions
The Good old Days of Thousand Oaks
Wendy has many passions but most revolve around bringing the community together. The parade, the Conejo Valley Days carnival and equestrian events are just a few that make Thousand Oaks a wonderful, unique place within Ventura County.
